Vision Academy: Cost-free newcomer courses at VISION 2009

Times of change need knowledge - knowledge about pioneering technologies and their applications. That´s why the Vision Academy organizes cost-free newcomer courses at the VISION 2009 in Stuttgart / Germany in collaboration with the Messe Stuttgart. The first education establishment for Machine Vision - Vision Academy - continues the successful series of courses of instruction from the last year.

Target group of the courses are persons, who want to use the time of change to establish the technology of Machine Vision in their company: Managers, project engineers, technicians and maintenance staff of all sectors of the manufacturing industry.
The cost-free newcomer courses impart time-saving and compact essential facts and backgrounds to different subjects of Machine Vision, just in the style of the Vision Academy. They are focussed on industrial applications.

The courses are held from November 3rd to 5th 2009 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the ‘Messeclub' (entrance east) as follows:

In the beginning there was light - Illumination techniques and effects for Machine Vision
The objective - the unknown subject? - The way to a matching objective in Machine Vision
Dream team robot / Vision System - Robot Vision: How it works and what it can do
Thermography in Machine Vision - Extension of "visible" Vision with temperature images
OpenCV and Smart Cameras - Programming of stand-alone Vision Systems with open sources

All courses are given in german language.

Above the Vision Academy is present at the VISION 2009 at the Application Park in hall 4, exhibition stand A75.
